Aquinas horribly said that conscience must always be followed even into intrinsic evil i.e.. abortion/murder. This is used many times and many ways today.
I have heard all the excuses meant to pardon Aquinas and none of them are valid.More

Are you sure this is not taken out of contest Chris, bearing in mind that Saint Thomas Aquinas would often present an argument from both sides of the coin, then lead the reader to a logical conclusion of the truthfulness of the correct position of the debate. Such strategy is the hallmark of the Summa Theologica.
