I am not certain why so little heed is paid to the insulting manner with which African bishops who have decided to dissent from Francis' declaration have been treated by Francis and Tucho. They have been treated like children who are not sufficiently culturally mature to be able to accede to Francis' dictates and will be humored for this lack of sophistication, rather than as the spiritually enlightened members of our Faith community that they actually are.
