Leo XIV Promotes Anti-Catholic Bishop: His Diocesan Synod Excluded Critic of Homosexual Ideology
Pope Leo XIV has appointed Bishop Daniel Garcia of Monterey, California, as the sixth bishop of Austin, Texas, on July 2.
After leading the Diocese of Monterey, California, for more than six years since 2018, Monsignor Garcia, 64, has returned to his home diocese.
During his address given in English and in Spanish, Bishop Garcia emphasized today that the Church and civil society must not forget the "poor, the weak, and those who live on the margins." He claimed that illegal migrants are "lacking due process": "These are people with faces and a story."
In December 2024, Bishop Garcia joined a coalition of 12 California bishops in issuing a pastoral message affirming solidarity with migrants.
Since 2021, Monsignor Garcia has served as a board member of Catholic Relief Services. This international institution has a history of controversies concerning contraception and abortion.
Bishop Garcia frequently echoed Pope Francis' language, especially the term "accompaniment".

Let's not forget that Prevost collaborated with Bergoglio in appointing many sodomites to high ecclesiastical positions.

Prevost once again demonstrates his infidelity to Christ and the Church by continuing to reward apostate gay activist priests who have betrayed God, the Church, and even themselves, because those who live in mortal sin are enemies of their own souls.
Remember the parable of the Ninety and Nine sheep? The shepherd left the Ninety and Nine to find the lost one. The good bishop seems to think the shepherd threw the Ninety and Nine under the bus in favor of the one "on the peripheries." Jesus reached out to the poor, blind and infirm, but he did not forsake any.
