Francis‘ Adviser: Sunday Obligation "Could Fall"
Fernández, a Francis ghostwriter and expert on kissing, told the anti-Catholic ReligionDigital.org (April 27), “There are things that we sometimes think are unchangeable but in reality they are not.”
He mentions the Sacrament of Confession that allegedly "changed" over the centuries, thus insinuating that it could be altered or abolished.
In contrast to Fernández' believes, Catholic Faith considers attending Sunday Mass as the first of the "five precepts of the Church" (CCC 2042) and as the "foremost holy day of obligation" (CCC 2177). Disregarding Sunday obligation is a mortal sin.
