IMHO the current revolution in the Church was initialized by the J-M circles in the US - when Catholicism (because of the WWII and post-war era boom in North America) became qualified as the public enemy of the existing regime not only on the local (country) but also international level). Thus, initialization or rather transmission of intoxication processes from the US level to the pan-Catholic level (i.e. Vatican II revolution arranged with the help of post-war German countries bishops).
Moreover, there is no "Western civilization" - it is necessary to discern between the Catholic ("Latin Church") civilization [Christianitas - Christendom] and the Western Protestant/Masonic project started in 16th century and commenced on the full scale in the 18th century with the later development.
