The Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen telephoned British Nuncio Paul Gallagher on October 15 to complain about "the language" used by Francis in his Sunday Angelus.
Francis had called for the liberation of Israeli hostages in Gaza, the “respect for humanitarian law” and humanitarian corridors to allow aid to reach Gaza.
Cohen “demands” from Francis, who is not his subordinate, a “clear and unequivocal” condemnation of Hamas.
“It is unacceptable that you issue a statement expressing worry primarily for Gazan civilians while Israel is burying 1,300 who were murdered [Israel has murdered 3,000 civilians among them more than 600 children].”
Cohen is a member of the right-wing nationalist Likud party, which, interestingly, is unconditionally supported by the "left" parties in the Western regimes.

Boo Hoo Israel. Israel's suffering and deserves some support, yeah, I get it. But not USA military support, and DEFINITLY not USA military "boots on the ground" involvement. Yes, 1,000+ Jews were slaughtered. That's bad. Villages destroyed. But it's hypocritical to say that one side is the good guys (Israel), and 1 is the bad (Hamas, Hezbollah), when Israel has just destroyed and killed 2x more than …More

Both sides are bad.
And I'm not siding with Bergoglio. He will always side with the group the rest of the world thinks is evil.

Don't be fooled to think Bergoglio is a good guy in this one. Israel is being used by the globalist elite (Bergoglio’s team) and will eventually fall into a trap and suffer more than in ww2.
