Parish Hosts Hindu Cremation

Father Varghese Mathilakathukuzhy allowed the cremation of the late Hindu woman Omana, 68, according to the pagan rites inside the Catholic cemetery in Ramankary, Kerala.

He told AsiaNews.it (August 16) that family members approached him because they didn't possess enough land to set up a funeral pyre.

Pagan funeral rites were held inside the cemetery chapel followed by the cremation on cemetery ground. A group of 25 young volunteers of the parish helped at the cremation.

Hindus burn their dead at Shmashana (public cremation grounds) The problem is they're getting crowded now so this family scammed this "priest" who almost certianly knew this as well.
