Zanchetta Trial: The Vatican Sent Documents

Days before the February 21-25 trial against Bishop Zanchetta starts in Orán, Argentina, the Vatican sent the documentation the Justice had asked for, ElTribuno.com (February 17) writes.

It is not publicly known what this documentation contains, perhaps the files of the canonical trial of which, likewise, nothing is known.

Zanchetta is accused of mismanagement, abuse of power, and homosexual abuse against seminarians.

Already when Francis made Zanchetta a bishop in 2013, faithful from Quilmes Diocese where Zanchetta was incardinated for over 20 years, gathered signatures to stop him from being consecrated.
