Shameless: Francis Receives Archenemy of Benedict XVI

Francis invited Giorgio Parisi, a Roman theoretical physicist (2021: worthless Nobel Prize), to the Vatican on October 5 to promote the climate-hysterical Laudate Deum.
In 2007, Parisi was among 67 professors (out of 4.500) who fought against freedom of expression and opposed the invitation of Benedict XVI by the Rector to give the inaugural address at Rome's La Sapienza University. The 67 used the pretext of "defending" the secularity of public institutions, although La Sapienza was founded by Pope Boniface VII in 1303.

The intolerant Parisi went one step further, telling the communist daily L’Unità that Benedict was "unwelcome" because he didn’t believe in the infantile evolution myth.

Benedict XVI finally declined the invitation. The pro-rector read out his address.

Now, Parisi was shameless enough to accept Bergoglio's shameless invitation to the Vatican and even to attend a private meeting with him, presumably to discuss how to suppress open dialogue more effectively.
