Communion with the Orthodox? On Sunday, during his trip to Turkey Pope Francis participated in a Divine Liturgy celebrated by Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul. In an address upon conclusion of the service Francis said that – quote - “the one thing that the Catholic Church desires and that I seek as Bishop of Rome is communion with the Orthodox Churches.” However, if Rome will buy into homosex and antifamily ideology an agreement with the Orthodox will be unlikely.
