Bishop Novell: A Scheme? A Smokescree? A Publicity Stunt?

The oligarchs’ cameras are stationed in front of former Bishop Novell's current home, a small, 33 metres square flat at Carretera Santpedor 130 in Manresa.

Ironically, in the same building, the San Pedro Apostol parish is located. Novell is not cohabitating with Silvia Caballol who sleeps at her mother's. He was photographed while jogging on Monday morning.

GerminansGerminabit.Blogspot.com (September 15) presents the theory (“I’m not going to make it my own”) that Silvia is only a smokescreen “to cover up something bigger, which we don't want to know about.”

This theory says that Novell is being blackmailed by a “powerful lobby” that has “very sensitive information” about him, including graphic documentation to prove it. In this case, the bishop’s love story would only be a successful scheme to fool journalists.

Silvia has made good money of the affair. Her books are sold out.

"This theory says that Novell is being blackmailed by a “powerful lobby”...like the theory Benedict XVI was blackmailed into resigning and kept a prisoner who wasn't allowed to speak to the media. Then when he gave one interview after another, the theory said that proves he never resigned at all. Gotta love them bloggers and their theories.
