One American he does not dislike is Bernie Sanders. Sanders is “not conservative,” “not a traditionalist,” and “leftwing”. Of course he does'nt dislike all Americans. We likely have some of his favorite people in our land. Nowhere ( perhaps other than Germany) has a country become so much it's antithesis, in such short order. Our Grandparents where rather dead than red, the grandchildren are red.

As to politicians such as Mr. Sanders -- we remember that fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom. As Rev. Hugh Thwaites used to point out, simply, if we have no Holy fear of the Lord, we have not even begun to be wise. (We also remember that perfect Love casts out all fear)

This is, I suppose, since they have effected more evil and have been unworthy of the extra graces that God Offers those in positions of authority.
As to Francis -- he truly is our purifying scourge. When His people repent, the Lord will Supply them with shepherds patterned after His Own Sacred Heart.
