Second Dubia Cardinal Has Died

Cardinal Carlo Caffarra - one of the Dubia cardinals - has died this morning unexpectedly although he has been sick for a long time. He was 79 years old. Before becoming a bishop, Caffarra taught moral theology in Rome. He was a strong and very articulate critic of the controversial document Amoris Laetitia.

Early July, Cardinal Joachim Meisner, was the first of the four Dubia cardinals, who died.
