According to the painter, Dorota Sadovská, the picture shows Joseph's "openness", his quality to "listen" and "change."
“The baseline of his stance, running from his head over his right shoulder to the welcoming gesture of his right hand, creates an imaginary open and accepting arc,” she philosophised.
The flower in the left hand is a "lily" referring to Joseph's purity. Sadovská believes that the simplicity of the shapes and the yellow colour “evoke the new, glorified body of the saints in heaven.” She should have become a novelist as she explains herself better in writing than in painting.
This is just another example of the fact that the Council Church has fallen into the trap of a sexual-secularised "art."
