Blogger: Vatican Court Drops Case

The Vatican Criminal Court, in a short hearing (less than 30 minutes) on Friday, declared that it had no jurisdiction to rule on a case against the blogger Marco Perfetti (SilereNonPossum.com). He was accused of insulting Francis and reporting/disclosing secrets.

The judge found that there was "no need to proceed" against the defendant due to "lack of jurisdiction". Perfetti was not present in court.

The original complaint was filed by Italian businessman Angelo Chiorazzo, who is involved in the preparation of the first "World Children's Day" in Rome (25-26 May), wanted by Francis. Some of Perfetti's articles about this day were part of the complaint.

It is strange that there was a trial at all, since it was clear even to the prosecutor before it began that the Vatican court had no jurisdiction. It is even stranger that the accused was neither informed nor summoned to the trial.

It had already been written for some time and due to other events that Vatican justice has serious problems... The first outside legal analyses of Vatican's 'trial of the century' are in, and they're critical

It had already been written for some time and due to other events that Vatican justice has serious problems... The first outside legal analyses of Vatican's 'trial of the century' are in, and they're critical
It turns out that it is enough to be powerful or a friend of the powerful and you can send anyone to trial with any excuse. In this case, since the director of the blog was a lawyer, the matter ended immediately, but if there was an ordinary person in his place, what would have happened? Would an innocent person have been convicted? After these events (plus others in the past for other events) no one will believe any more in the accusations and trials that will take place in the Vatican, because it will be easy to think that they are only the result of spite and revenge. Mr. Angelo Chiorazzo was able to do this thanks to Cardinal Mauro Gambetti (his friend of him) who was appointed, with effect from 1 January 2024 by Pope Francis, member of the Vatican Court of Cassation Cassazione Vaticana: "Francesco piazza i suoi". L'ombra della pregiudicata Chaouqui - Silere Non Possum
After all the disasters, St. Peter's Basilica Basilica Di San Pietro - Silere Non Possum wouldn't it be appropriate to do as with the Vicariate of Rome? After this last fact it is even more evident that we should intervene!!!

Looks like the current Vatican coterie just on a bullying expedition to deter others, in case anything else comes to light in future.
