Parrhesia Francis Signs Brutal Punishment For Catholic Opus Dei Priest

The expelled Opus Dei Father Janvier Gbénou, 42, who calls himself Jesusmary Missigbètò and lives currently with his parents in Ivory Coast, has received July 1 a Decree of the Congregation for Bishops, signed by Francis and Cardinal Ouellet.

It validates sanctions imposed on Gbénou by the Opus Dei for an alleged lack of “respect and obedience to the Supreme Pontiff” (Can 273), a paragraph that perhaps was never used before in Church history.

Gbénou has questioned Francis’ homosexualism. Currently, he is forbidden to celebrate Mass in public and private, to preach and hear confessions.

He calls the decision unjust stating that in conscience - what Francis values highly in the case of unrepentant sinners -, he cannot renounce his criticism because Francis himself "has seriously lacked respect and obedience to God and the People of God."

Gbénou quotes Christ, Popes and Vatican documents against Francis' homosex-heresy. He lists homosexualist Cardinals and their offences against Church teaching like Hollerich (Luxembourg) who called the Church’s teaching on homosexuality “false,” Zuppi (Bologna) who allowed a homosex "blessing", Cupich (Chicago) who let homosexuals preach.

The Francis victim asks: “What sanction for these unfaithful cardinals to the teaching of the Catholic Church? None. On the contrary, positions of responsibility and public praise from Francis while priests faithful to Christian Tradition are sanctioned.”

Fr. Jesusmary is permitted to say Mass privately on the condition that he refrains from writing criticism of the Roman pontiff - what he declines.

Another Catholic, persecuted for being...Catholic!

Can't disagree with his analysis. But what good has he accomplished? Same way I feel about Fr. James Altman. Sure, his viewpoint on things is spot on. But now there is a parish in Wisconsin without a good priest.

I hope that all of you who agree with and support Fr. Gbénou will also give a shout-out to App. Lefebvre who tried to speak out as the seed of this insanity was just sprouting.

Please Lord send many blessings upon Father Janvier Gbénou. He gives us an wonderful example of courage. Many great priests such as Louis De Montfort have been suppressed by their bishops.

This young priest is a hero for standing up against a homosexualist/trans loving heretic Pope and his associates. i wish his good example would be immitated by other brave young priests, and even bishops and Cardinals. This young priest is a hero for standing up against a homosexualist/trans loving heretic Pope and his associates. i wish his good example would be immitated by other brave young priests, and even bishops and Cardinals. Even the youngest member of the latest batch of Francis cardinals, aged 47, seems to have spoken out against Francis regarding possession by the devil. He was very traditional. In general, CAtholic newspapers have always labeled cardinals created by Francis as "progressives" or "radicals". Wouldn't it be ironic, if come conclave time, many of these "progressives" turn out in voting not to be as "radical" as the Catholic press labeled them as being.

Very interesting that the Vatican is only interested in building some 'bridges' while having no qualms about blowing up others. I shall pray for this priest, and all of the others like him, who have been 'disenfranchised' by the very shepherds who should be tending, nurturing, and, when/if necessary, compassionately correcting the members of their flock.

Is there any way we can reach out and donate to this True Son of the Church?

And priests such as James Martin can still preach their errors and good priests are punished.
