Norwegian Ecumenism: Government Authorities Destroy Children with Gender Fiction

The Norwegian bishops and 30 Christian communities issued an ecumenical declaration on October 15 in support of biological facts and against movements such as gender ideology and 'queer theory'.

The Christian groups include the Norwegian Lutheran Missionary Society, Foursquare Norway, and the Value Alliance.

The declaration states the truism that there are "only two biological sexes: male and female. A person's gender is determined at the moment of conception."

"The idea that there is a subjective gender and a self-chosen 'gender identity' that is freely chosen and based on feelings is the result of ideology and has no basis in biology or science".

The signatories consider it "extremely problematic" that the authorities in many countries are promoting gender ideology to young students.

Children are exposed in classrooms to "the idea that there are boys, girls, and other genders."

"This influence can lead to confusion, insecurities, and destructive life choices for many children and young people."

The problem are "government bodies" and "public authorities" that "abuse their mandate and power when they try to pressure citizens and organisations to conform to 'queer theory' in relation to gender, sexuality, and marriage."

The declaration emphasizes that "much of what is known under the modern terms 'gender diversity' and 'sexual diversity' is not based on medical knowledge and natural science."

And, "This gender ideology is also incompatible with our Christian faith and understanding of reality."

Bravo!

What would change if "gender diversity" were based on modern "medical knowledge" and "natural science"? Would it be less false? The heresy of scientism is that in favor of "science" one abandons the teachings of religion.

Based on science means you come to true results. True science and religion always will teach the same.

Denis Efimov

Yes. And it is wonderful when we see true science confirming religious truths. But if some "science" says that gender diversity is true (as many psychologists and sociologists teach), then we can be sure that we are dealing with false science, to make concessions to which means to retreat from religious truth.

Somebody should get Pope Francis himself to sign it, and while you're at it get him to keep his trannies and their lovers out of the Vatican and stop those abominable trannie luncheons he loves to host in the Holy See every month. Also, get him to stop granting Papal approval of Baptisms for unrepentant trannies and allowing them to stand officially as Church-sanctioned godparents. Because the way I see it, the only sure thing that will make something like this work is if you can get His Holiness to support, sign and enforce this document, then (and only then) you might actually have something. Otherwise, it’s a monumental waste of time and an exercise in utter futility. 😐
