I was just listening to an excellent podcast on the Spanish Civil War in which 13 Bishops and 7,000 Priests, nuns and monks were martyred by Marxist revolutionaries in the 1930's. All of this was foretold by Our Lady at Fatima as a punishment for sin.
The only remedy and response we ought to make is holiness of life.

I really, really wish the Archbishop would just simply stick to defending the Faith, and not wander cluelessly off into the deep doo-doo of politics, a task for which he is enormously unqualified, and extremely ill-informed and unequipped.
