Statement of the Archdiocese of Saint Mary in Astana regarding the Declaration Fiducia supplicans

The manifest purpose of the Declaration of the Holy See, Fiducia supplicans, is to allow “the possibility of blessing couples in irregular situations and same-sex couples”. At the same time, the document insists that such blessings are performed “without officially validating their status or changing in any way the Church’s perennial teaching on marriage”.
The fact that the document does not give permission for the “marriage” of same-sex couples should not blind pastors and faithful to the great deception and the evil that resides in the very permission to bless couples in irregular situations and same-sex couples. Such a blessing directly and seriously contradicts Divine Revelation and the uninterrupted, bimillennial doctrine and practice of the Catholic Church. To bless couples in an irregular situation and same-sex couples is a serious abuse of the most Holy Name of God, since this name is invoked upon an objectively sinful union of adultery or of homosexual activity.
Therefore, none, not even the most beautiful, of the statements contained in this Declaration of the Holy See, can minimize the far-reaching and destructive consequences resulting from this effort to legitimize such blessings. With such blessings, the Catholic Church becomes, if not in theory, then in practice, a propagandist of the globalist and ungodly “gender ideology”.
As successors of the Apostles, and faithful to our solemn oath on the occasion of our episcopal consecration “to preserve the deposit of faith in purity and integrity, according to the tradition always and everywhere observed in the Church since the time of the Apostles”, we exhort and prohibit priests and the faithful of the Archdiocese of Saint Mary in Astana from accepting or performing any form of blessing whatsoever of couples in an irregular situation and same-sex couples. It goes without saying that every sincerely repentant sinner with the firm intention to no longer sin and to put an end to his public sinful situation (such as, e.g., cohabitation outside of a canonically valid marriage, union between people of the same sex) can receive a blessing.
With sincere brotherly love, and with due respect, we address Pope Francis, who – by allowing the blessing of couples in an irregular situation and same-sex couples – “does not walk uprightly according to the truth of the Gospel” (see Gal. 2:14), to borrow the words with which Saint Paul the Apostle publicly admonished the first Pope in Antioch. Therefore, in the spirit of episcopal collegiality, we ask Pope Francis to revoke the permission to bless couples in an irregular situation and same-sex couples, so that the Catholic Church may shine clearly as the “pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Tim 3:15) for all those who sincerely seek to know the will of God and, by fulfilling it, to attain eternal life.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pope Francis has a health meltdown over his lasest heretical act, allowing for blessing of queers. HOORAY!!
To add fuel to the fire destroying the papacy of Pope Francis as his Vatican goes up in flames, here's so more very wonderful news. Read it and weep, Pope Francis and Tucho:
"“In conclusion, the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria assures the entire People of God that the teaching of the Catholic Church on marriage remains the same. There is, therefore, no possibility in the Church of blessing of same-sex unions and activities. That would go against God’s law, the teachings of the Church, the laws of our nation, and the cultural sensitivities of our people.”
This just came out today---from the Nigerian Bishops Conference. Huge country....huge number of Catholics.....maybe 40% of the country!!
I hope more and more stand up against Pope Francis!!!

I forgot to mention, this growing list of bishops and countries against Pope Francis and his pro-homo declaration will make it VERY difficult, if not impossible, for the Cardinals to elect a "Francis II" or a "John XXIV" type pope. Kenjiro....why do you keep referring to him as Pope Francis???? It is not possible for a Pope to descend to the levels that Bergoglio has.... and still be a valid Pope. Anyone who thinks that a pope can do all Jorge has over the last nearly 11 years.... and still be Pope.... has had their understanding of the nature of the papacy ripped to shreds.
Those who no longer believe he can be the Pope, have the same understanding of what a pope is, that they had before Bergoglio invalidly took the Chair of Peter in 2013.
Their understanding of what a true pope is has not changed at all!!!
Bergoglio is absolutely diametrically the opposite of the great and saintly Popes of history. The word for it is anti-pope.....anti-pope Jorge....not Pope Francis.
With his supposed health problems....he is playing you.... and all of us.... like a fiddle!!!

@Tony M -Thank you for the correction!! What you state I have always believed about "pope" Francis/aka Jorge Mario Bergoglio. But awhile back, I forget who, but one of the very few contributors here who support Bergoglio, sent me an angry post saying that I should give him the respect he deserves as "Our Holy Father"

and call him by his name, "Pope Francis". So to avoid problems, I did. But you are right. I never considered Bergoglio a legit Pope, even though I gave him the title. Which especially after his homo decree, he doesn't deserve. It's great to see so many bishops conferences and countries rising up to condemn his homo initiative. I hope many more do so. I hope he is confronted by angry Cardinals and Curia members when they assemble for the annual Christmas greetings with the "pope" at the Vatican. That is usually telivised on Italian TV. It would be fantastic if cardinals stand up to him right on TV condemning him.
