PRAYING FOR OTHERS

Very often people are worried about the problems of their dear ones such as not having faith, addicted to drinks, drugs, sex, failre in marriage etc. and come to us speeking prayers fort hem. We want to teach them how to pray for others in the faith perspective als Christ wants. It is always better to teach how to fish than to give fish!

„We were God's enemies, bit he made us his friends through the death of his Son“ (Rom.5.10). Now the Lord wants that now we join with him to „stand in the gap“. As for Jesus, „whose food was to do the will of the Father and to complete his work“ (Jn 4.34), I too need to do His will and live His Word.

Jesus had to go through the passion and the crucifixion; so also should I, in order to stand in the gap. „Whoever says, I abide in Christ, ought to walk just as he walked.“ (1 Jn 2.6)

Our Go is al loving God who hears our prayers. But we need to live as his children. „The children of God and the children of the devil are revealed in this way: all who do not do what is right are not from God, nor are those who do not love theri brothers and sisters.“ (I Jn. 3.10). „The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. Butt he farce of the Lord is against those who do evil“ (1 Pet. 3,12)
