Conley wimped out. His statement is just a bunch of mealy-mouthed mumbo-jumbo. He tries, like most of the American Bishops are doing, to apply the “King Solomon” principle and uses the “divide the baby” approach, proclaiming good and bad on both sides; but such weak, spineless attempts won’t get the job done, because it simply surrenders to the filth of the sodomites and promotes their ultimate …More
Conley wimped out. His statement is just a bunch of mealy-mouthed mumbo-jumbo. He tries, like most of the American Bishops are doing, to apply the “King Solomon” principle and uses the “divide the baby” approach, proclaiming good and bad on both sides; but such weak, spineless attempts won’t get the job done, because it simply surrenders to the filth of the sodomites and promotes their ultimate agenda. If this came from Conley, that's great. But maybe I'm wrong, but I read through his letter, and it just seemed like alot of rationalizing and making excuses for the Vatican letter itself. If Conley came out and condemned …More

If this came from Conley, that's great. But maybe I'm wrong, but I read through his letter, and it just seemed like alot of rationalizing and making excuses for the Vatican letter itself. If Conley came out and condemned it, that's great. If he equivocated and tried to dismiss the implications regarding a blessing (of any kind) for homosexuals, then he wimped out...like I think most USA bishops will do.
