My guess is that this is over Vigano's accusations that the Pope sexually abused seminarians when he was a bishop in Argentina. Even that was too much for Francis. Even though I don't like Pope Francis, I don't at all believe that those accusations were credible. Vigano could not provide any shred of evidence, only hearsay and gossip.
