Watching “live” the Holy Trinity in action!
Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus, June 23, 2019
Dear Brothers and Sisters, after celebrating the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, we’re going to celebrate Sunday, June 23, reminds us of what we could call the greatest work ad extra, as they say in theological terms, of the Most Holy Trinity whenever Holy Mass is celebrated in every Church in all over the world. In fact, dear brothers and sisters, at the culminating moment of the celebration of each Holy Mass, the priest extending his hands over the offerings of bread and wine (epiclesis), prays as follows: "And now Father, Let your Spirit come upon these gifts to make them holy, so that they may become for us the body + and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.”… What an incredible experience we Catholics make every time we take part in the Holy Mass! Watching "live", so to speak, The Father who in the Son through the Holy Spirit is at work to purify and make our hearts ever cleaner so that the world may be cleaner!
