Pope Francis' Health: "Reducing Mechanical Ventilation At Night"
According to today's Vatican bulletin, Francis is slowly improving as he battles pneumonia in the hospital, and the use of mechanical ventilation to help him breathe at night is being reduced. He still requires motor and respiratory therapy [= can't breathe on his own] and hospital care.
Francis has not been seen in public since he was admitted to the hospital on February 14. It is the longest such absence of his papacy (12 years on March 12). He will again miss the Angelus tomorrow, for the fifth Sunday in a row.
Statement from the Vatican Press Office, March 15, evening:
"The Holy Father's clinical condition has remained stable, confirming the progress shown in the last week.
High flow oxygen therapy continues, gradually reducing the need for non-invasive mechanical ventilation at night.
The Holy Father continues to require inpatient medical therapy, motor and respiratory physiotherapy. These treatments are showing further gradual improvements"

I expected the medicine to cure the pneumonia by now. Also, "can't breathe on his own" is worrisome. I wonder what the doctors expect will happen.

Please note the lack of trust with Vatican announcements.
The Church is supposed to represent "good", in particular, not lying or misleading. However, some receiving the news do not trust the veracity.
The video describes a possible future event, created by manipulating the truth. BUT, that event cannot happen because people who Father Raul expects will believe it are predisposed to not believe.
Jorge is done & dusted, all that is left is the damage he has done to the church. Bye Jorge it wasn't nice knowing you.
