He cannot tell it to us in full becuse we would be unable to comprehend and it would be useless. But we need to know it for our own edification and salvation. In a discussion with the infamous atheist, Richard Dawkins, +Pell answered a question from Dawkins about the account of Adam & Eve in Genesis 3. When Pell said he did not believe its historicity, Dawkins asked him what that did to the Catholic dogma regarding original sin. +Pell looked at him blankly. It was apparent (as unbelievable as it may sound) that he had never considered the question.
