Kasper: Francis Wanted to Abolish Celibacy — Benedict XVI and Sarah Successfully Intervened
For Cardinal Kasper, the position of women in the Church is a major issue [not the general collapse of the Church]. He admits that, in many dioceses and also in the Vatican, women are taking on tasks that were previously only permitted for clerics.
Regarding homosexual sins, Cardinal Kasper said that Western society had accepted it as a "sexual orientation" [= capitulated]: "However, this has not been accepted in either the Catholic Church in the West or in other cultures."
He cited the African Church as an example. There, polygamy is much more prevalent.
Regarding the German Synod, Cardinal Kasper admitted that it did not include everyone: "Things have gone wrong. We Germans often think we can do things alone and tell others what to do."
