Kasper: Francis Wanted to Abolish Celibacy — Benedict XVI and Sarah Successfully Intervened
Cardinal Walter Kasper, 92, claimed that Pope Francis had wanted to abolish celibacy: “My assessment is that Francis definitely wanted to change something. However, the former Benedict XVI and Cardinal Robert Sarah successfully intervened at the time,” he told Cicero.de on 22 May.
For Cardinal Kasper, the position of women in the Church is a major issue [not the general collapse of the Church]. He admits that, in many dioceses and also in the Vatican, women are taking on tasks that were previously only permitted for clerics.
Regarding homosexual sins, Cardinal Kasper said that Western society had accepted it as a "sexual orientation" [= capitulated]: "However, this has not been accepted in either the Catholic Church in the West or in other cultures."
He cited the African Church as an example. There, polygamy is much more prevalent.

Kasper denied the miracles of Christ and attacked Marian dogmas, although he was very dear to the false Pope Bergoglio, which is perfectly understandable.
Some years ago I read two of Kasper's books. If I remember correctly, one was called Jesus the Christ, the other The God of Jesus Christ. The best I can say of them is one was not as bad as the other.
