With the benefit of a few more days for reflection, here’s what I think I see happening:
The tie that binds all these recent events together (ie., Rumor of the imminent complete suppression of the TLM; the censure of Vigano; the SSPX preparation of the faithful for episcopal consecrations; and somewhat more remotely, the suppression of the PCED) is that they are all preparatory steps for the formal integration of the SSPX into the conciliar church, via the personal prelature.
In reverse order:
1) The suppression of the PCED leaves all the biritual communities like the FSSP, ICK, et al adrift without a Roman overseer, but it also clears the path for the establishment of a new governing authority (ie., the Prelature).
2. The consecration of bishops is a logical inevitability: A prelature needs prelates. Of course, if this is what is happening, it means the SSPX and Menzingen are still working in partnership, and that being the case, with bishops covertly approved by modernist Rome, the …More

Ecclesia Dei didn’t dry SSPX out, as planned, so he’s decided to just close it all down and excommunicate. That’s my theory.
IMHO, they were worried that the Ratzingerian fiction (about two forms of the same rite) begot another fiction i.e. that the SP members adhered to Vatican II/NOM. I know what you’re saying, but I believe this was in the works for a while. They were unhappy, especially JPII, with the SSPX, so he was hoping to let the “old folks” who didn’t want to let go “come back into the fold he could control” and die off…but that didn’t happen. BXVI was still trying to rein them in…but Francis wants no more of it. Lefebvre read the writing on the wall…
Yes, of course, M. Lefebvre forced them to create the system, then Ratzinger decided to widen it (and "miraculously" indult ministries were placed often in the same cities/towns where SSPX tried to build their apostolate) , but finally Bergoglio concluded that the balance was in toto negative (e.g. more people got to know and started to attend the Roman Rite than planned)

No, the incomplete suppression outside the SSPX would mean there would be other venues besides them (thereby escaping the herding, and frustrating Francis’s dilution strategy.

The above reasoning lacks logic. Premise 1 (imminent complete suppression of the TLM) is inconsistent with the conclusion (you want us to believe that Bergoglio will ban completely the TLM to offer SSPX the TLM personal prelature - this is ridiculous). As for Premises 2 & 3 we have non sequitur here.

Yes, Bergoglio's goal is to cancel out TLM in ALL societies including SSPX, which is why he has been trying to suck them in to his One world religion (and they naively thought these were signs of good will). The false prophet will eventually change Novus Ordo beyond recognition canceling out Real Presence and at that point it will be extremely important to him that there's no TLM being offered …More

The false prophet will eventually change Novus Ordo beyond recognition canceling out Real Presence and at that point it will be extremely important to him that there's no TLM being offered because Antichrist cannot enter the shell of what was once Catholic Church if Christ is still present. But there WILL always be TLM offered in the underground Remnant True Church of Christ!
