The German Bishops are fooling the world and the Church. Despite the very dark recent history of their country the plenary meeting of the German Bishops Conference decided yesterday to allow the administration of the morning after pill in all German hospitals in case of alleged rape victims. The ultra liberal Cardinal Lehmann enlightened the bishops’ audience about the alleged existence of a morning after pill which would comply with Catholic moral doctrine. He spoke about quote “new scientific findings” and drugs with a modified effect. Lehmann neither named the source of these findings nor did he give the name of the alleged new pill. Why not? Because it does not exist.

On the last day of his pontificate, Benedict XVI will be filmed live by television cameras during his final hours in the Vatican, according to Monsignor Edoardo Maria Viganó, director of the Vatican Television Center (VTC). He added: "We are planning to report on these moments respecting the Pope's person and informing the faithful who wish to support Benedict XVI at such an important moment." Therefore, television cameras will be in the Apostolic Palace and will follow him until 5:00 pm when the Pontiff will board the helicopter that will take him to Castel Gandolfo. His resignation will come into force three hours later, initiating the period of the Vacant See. The question rises: To what point will the television cameras be able to film the Holy Father without invading his privacy? Monsignor Viganó said that the "details have not been defined," although he hopes that the event will be covered as much as possible.

Yesterday Fr. Federico Lombardi presented information related to the Holy Father's calendar and clarified some issues that have been raised in the past few days. Regarding the issue of the Society of St. Pius X, Lombardi reaffirmed that a deadline of the 22 February to decide the issue is pure hypothesis and that Benedict XVI has decided to entrust the matter to the next Pope. Thus, a definition of relations with the SSPX should not be expected by the end of this pontificate. The clarification is an open slap into the face of archbishop Gerhard Ludwig Müller, the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith who had spoken about such a deadline.

Yale-educated University of Notre Dame professor of New Testament and early Christianity, Candida Moss has released a video promoting a new book of her about the early Christian martyrs. Moss discounts the accounts of early Christian martyrdom saying that Christians were not systematically tortured and killed by the Romans merely because they refused to deny Christ. Rather, these stories were exaggerated, revised, and forged, often centuries later, and the history of the Church was reshaped in order to combat heresy, to inspire the faithful, and to fund Churches. On March 21st Moss is delivering a lecture on the topic at the Episcopalian Washington National Cathedral.

The question is, when are German Catholics finally going to say “enough is enough” of scandalous behavior coming from the alleged leaders of the Catholic Church in Germany?
Unfortunately, I don't think the German laity will ever publicly and courageously question their "leaders" and this is a part of the reason that their bishops know they can do whatever they wish to do with impunity.

The enemies within the walls of the Church are far more damaging to the integrity and vibrancy of Catholicism than those enemies on the outside.
These German Bishops who are complicit in the culture of death and bishops from my own country (eg. Mahony) are the enemies of Jesus the Christ, the Lord and Giver of Life and they are NOT part of my Catholic Church.
These men are imposters and, in a better time and place and with strong courageous leadership, all of these men would have been removed long ago and severely punished for their treacherous acts.
There should be no need for laymen to deal with these scandals. The fact that the laity and Gloria.tv is dealing with it proves that there is no effective leadership within the Catholic Church.

When you have a moment, why don't you do something about your fellow German schismatic bishops who are a disgrace and who are giving scandal to not merely the German Church but to Catholicism throughout the world?
Or, are you too busy right now to handle this matter involving your fellow German bishops since you prefer to give ultimatums to the SSPX?
