The Men Behind The War On Women

A group of men with no real background in law or medicine, but blessed with a strong personal interest in women’s bodies, have quietly influenced all of the major anti-abortion legislation over the past several years.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops may be one of the quietest, yet most powerful lobbies on Capitol Hill, with political allies that have enabled them to roll back decades of law and precedent.

Over the past two years the GOP-controlled House of Representatives has launched one of the most extreme assaults on women's choice the U.S. has seen in decades. Republicans voted twice to slash federal family planning funds for low-income women, moved to prevent women from using their own money to buy insurance plans that cover abortion, introduced legislation that would force women to have ultrasounds before receiving an abortion and, most recently, passed a bill that will allow hospitals to refuse to perform emergency abortions for women with life-threatening pregnancy complications.

But the erosion of women's rights didn't begin with the GOP takeover. President Barack Obama's health care reform law contained some of the most restrictive abortion language seen in decades.

Thank God for the US Bishops. If taking away women's rights means less abortions than I am all for it! Bring back women to the stone age if we have too. At least there wont be no more killing innocent babies! 🤦

It is good to know that the enemies of the Church have such regard for the power of the Church. But it is strange to read this article from the Huffington Post on a Catholic web-site. The Huffington Post, founded by Arianna Huffington and others, is unflinching in its support for abortion. Their language is biased and inflammatory, bordering on the hysterical. In their language, for example, the Catholic teaching on the sanctity of human life constitutes a "war on women." They seem to have gotten things backwards.

As painful as it is, the naked face of Liberalism seen above ought to be exposed and arguments ought to be crafted by lifers so that we can skilfully refute the enemy every time it is encountered. Depending on circumstances, sometimes those arguments are to be made with much compassion and understanding. At other times those arguments must be made with force and severity in order to be effective.

What a gruesome, evil industry. More barbaric than anything from the middle ages goes on in our cities every day, sanctioned by a major political party, dressed up as freedom and choice, pushed as acceptable birth control by the elites! What a black, bleak, dark, ominous cloud this must be bringing to our nation.

In many ways, this age is by far worse than the atrocities of the Nazi’s in WW-II. The Nazi’s accurately documented in what they were doing. They were definitely more honest in their motives and goals.

Today, the left tries to cloak its actions in euphemism like “pro-choice”, “birth control”, or “reproductive rights”. The lazy media and a public that just wants to forget about abortion are willing accomplices in this modern day genocide. This genocide is by far the worst in world history because it is scantioned by governments and their “good intentions”. Babies gasping for breath and then being stabbed to death by clinic workers is the reality of these “good intentions.”
