The Vatican and Francis Still Love Rupnik

Father Rupnik asked to leave the Jesuits several months before he was dismissed for "disobedience", writes CentroAletti.com (June 17).

The Centro Aletti is Rupnik's art studio. His colleagues are loyal to him. The statement accuses the Jesuits of running a smear campaign. It doesn't say where the two dozen sex allegations over 30 years are false.

VaticanNews.va continues to use Rupnik's work to illustrate articles, most recently for the Sacred Heart Feast. One senior official in the Dicastery for Communications, responsible for VaticanNews, is Nataša Govekar, a member of the Centro Aletti.

It is no secret that Rupnik is protected by Francis.
