Bishop Fellay Has “A Kindly View” Of Pope Francis
Bishop Bernard Fellay, the former superior of the Society of St Pius X (SSPX), takes “a kindly view” of Pope Francis, CatholicHerald.co.uk (November 29) writes.
The outlet reports about a recent interview it conducted with Fellay who quoted Francis who compared the SSPX to heretics saying, “Some people in the Church aren’t happy when I do good to you. I tell them, ‘Listen, I do good to Protestants. I do good to Anglicans. Why shouldn’t I do good to these Catholics?’”
Fellay mentioned that Francis read the biography of the SSPX’s founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, twice and then said to a Society’s priest: “You know, they have treated them badly”.
Francis also has a history of treating people badly.
