Their steadfast faith is inspiring new generations of devout young men to open their hearts to God's call and discern a vocation. I am not even in the slightest bit surprised Father Gordon could find an altar server willing to kneel during a Mass conducted in the snow.

An important point about the snow... The last weather system leaving all that snow was mixed with rain. He's kneeling in wet snow... the kind that easily soaks through clothing (even conventional winter gloves) and leaves the flesh cold and painful. I should know. I shovelled enough of it out of my driveway and when I was done, my gloves were soaked. Horrible stuff. Neither man is wearing a jacket, either.

Such knowlege gives a much deeper perspective to what's occurring in the photo beyond the obvious and Sublime. This is, so to speak one of those moments when Knights Of The Altar truly earn their spurs.
