Ecône, 30 June 2026
Most Holy Father,
Thank you very much for the letter that Your Holiness so kindly addressed to me.
I have been deeply touched by Your paternal solicitude.
For a long time, I had hoped to have the opportunity of meeting You in person, in order to express to You directly our sincere desire to serve the Church. Unfortunately, that opportunity has not presented itself.
I ask only that You consider the sincerity of this intention, which is in no way feigned. Paradoxically, in the present circumstances, we believe it to be our very duty to do everything possible to mend Christ's seamless garment, torn by forces and pressures incompatible …More
@brhenry You have reached for a very strained reading of the SSPX response. Something along the order of what we would expect from bomb throwers. A common sense reading (which is clearly what was intended) would be "Don't act impulsively." The SSPX has never given even the slightest hint that they have ever been looking for a "compromise."
No bomb, just facts. It is time for the Holy See to make a definitive pronouncement and move on, praying for repentance and reconciliation of all schismatics.
"Kicking the can down the road" has been the problem from the beginning with all disciplinary issues in the Church, including the 1962 Missal sectarian problem. Essentially, the SSPX wants the Vatican to take a modernist "inclusive, all are welcome" approach. Hopefully the Holy Father demands repentance and full reconciliation for years of schism.
What a great response! Strategically this is an excellent move and hits the mark. And the timing is right on point.
A magnificent Catholic letter such as this should not be met with an intransigent, Modernist response which waves the battle ax of "Excommunication" over the heads of these good Catholics, while giving passage to such much heterodox nonsense otherwise.
Deep night hath come down on this rough-spoken world, ~ And the banners of darkness are boldly unfurled; ~ And the tempest tossed Church, All her eyes are on Thee; ~ They look to Thy shining, 'Sweet Star of the Sea!'

The apostate Robert Prevost, like his evil mentor of infamous memory Jorge Bergoglio, defies God. What can be expected from this apostate, blasphemous, and homosexual sect that, in defiance of God and Catholic morality, blesses sodomy?
