Best of all, they're tasty, too! Squirrel is a white meat, more mild than rabbit and, unsurprisingly, a noticeably "nutty" flavour. It's a more "sustainable" meat source with -zero- developmental impact compared to commercial farming so even our ever-fretful "Eco-Pope" can't complain. It -is- considered "flesh" so it's a no-no on Fridays.
