Clever Guy “Changes Sex” to Fool the Foolish System

A Swiss man, 62, had his "sex changed" at the Hochdorf civil registry office, Switzerland, in ten minutes at a cost of 75CHF (80USD).

Since 5 January, the Swiss Ship of Fools considers him a "woman." The man, known as a "provocateur" [or court jester], openly declared having "changed his sex" only to receive his pension earlier, local media report.

Currently, women in Switzerland retire one year earlier than men. Therefore, the 10-minutes “sex change” will earn the man between CHF 14,340 (minimum pension) and CHF 28,680 (maximum pension).

A "sex change" law which is in force since 2022 allows anyone in Switzerland to take this step without any preconditions.
