Synod on Synods: Ultra-clerical Francis Wants Get Rid Of "Clerical Church"

Asked about the “obstacles” to [invalid] women priests, Sister Nathalie Becquart, the Synod of Bishops' undersecretary, told NyTimes.com (March 7) that Francis' "vision is to get rid of a clerical church and move to a synodal church — to disconnect participation in the leadership of the church from ordination.”

Francis, known for his autocratic behaviour and lonely decisions, is the antithesis of "synodality." Becquart added that the way “now opening up” is to listen to all different views - the opposite of what Francis has been doing since 2013.

Similarly, the Synod's general-secretary, Cardinal Mario Grech, 65, told CatholicNewsAgency.com (March 2) that the Synod on Synods is a discernment process to “find truth.” This implies that the Francis Group has lost the truth and is now outside of it.

Would not it be great if Bergoglio passed on right before his Synod was supposed to open, and the next Pope cancelled everything.
