Francis Criticises Bishops For Using Phones During Mass

During Mass people need to focus their hearts on God, not on their smartphones for pictures, Pope Francis said during the general audience on November 8.

Francis points out that the priest says during Mass “let us lift up our hearts,” not “let us lift up our phones and take a picture”.

He added, “It makes me so sad when I celebrate Mass and I see many phones raised, not just by the lay faithful, but also some priests and even bishops.”
