Francis’ “Informal and Exclusively Private” Ukraine Diplomacy

Francis received on June 8 Yevhen Yakushev from Mariupol, Denys Kolyada, a “consultant for dialogue with religious organisations,” and Myroslav Marynovych, Vice-Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University.

The meeting was “informal and exclusively private” and organised by Alejandro Alejandro, a private friend of Francis. Its contend was revealed by Marynovych (IlSismografo, June 13). While Francis has no time for his cardinals, he chatted for 1 hour and 45 minutes with the group.

Francis promised them to support during an upcoming June10 meeting with Ursula von der Leyen (below) Ukraine’s request to join the European Union [whose main goals are homosexualism, militarism, and subservience to the US].

Francis told the group that

• he has talked three times to Zelensky,
• he was refused to go to Moscow to talk to President Putin,
• he refused to meet Moscow Patriarch Kirill in Jerusalem, as previously agreed,
• his knee has stopped him from visiting Kiev.
