The two photos above capture two liturgical ceremonies: one is a Novus Ordo Mass, another is a Protestant service. They look very similar, don't they?
My guess is the bottom is NO - looks like the remains of a high altar is in the background there.
The bottom photo is Protestant because of the glass pitcher.
The "flagon" isn't allowed now by rules enforced from John Paul II's time - but it was very popular in Catholic churches circa 1980-2000.
Honestly I can't tell the difference, except the lower panel shows a little bit more "traditional style" in vesture and appointments - so probably the Protestant (Anglican/Episcopalian) one!
Bildrätsel: Oben ist eine katholische Messe, unten ein protestantischer Predigergottesdienst. Finde die Unterschiede.
Unten trinkt man mehr Wein...füllt die Krüge mit Wasser...man hofft auf ein Wunder??!
Read "The Great Betrayal" by Hugh Ross Williamson - An Anglican "priest" who converted to Catholicism in 1955. It's a very short book written in 1969/1970. His background equipped him to see the signs of Protestantism and Modernism in the NO back then. It explains a lot.
