Should you do a Holy Hour at a Novus Ordo Parish?

This is a tough decision given the questionable sacraments in many places these days.

If you doubt the validity then just "retire to your room " and pray.

That's all I needed to read. I miss Adoration at my Church a lot. Not only far but it's only once or twice a month. Like @Anthony November there is a n.o. Church near me that I use to go to. They have Adoration often and now I will go whenever I can. Thank you for the post Chris. I was tempted so many times to go but stopped myself. But now I know what to do, thanks to you. GOD Bless you.

I'm sorry, I meant to thank you as well @Anthony November

There is nothing wrong with this article given you actually read it. To deny there are many avenues for invalidity in today’s Novus Ordo is to deny actual documented facts. For example
(KC archbishop clarifies wine validity norms)
Deep down I ask myself this same question. I attend a Latin mass exclusively but there is a little parish nearby that tries to offer a reverent Novus Ordo and offers all day adoration.
I occasionally stop by to visit (who I hope is ) Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Yes, I agree with you. That doubt is a very important part of the Church's teaching on the validity of Sacraments! God bless you!

You may not like it, but the New Mass is valid. I know that's not a high bar to clear, but the Eucharist confected therein is very much Our Lord.

. . . yes, assuming valid priests who said the words correctly, which isn't a guarantee, nowadays.

@Chris Muniee I agree with you! In my post on Father Denzel Mueli's "Res Sacramenti" he deduced when they changed the words into the English translation it made the Mass invalid. So in affect the English world had thirty years on invalid novus ordo masses. And looking at the English speaking world we surely can see the bad fruits of that catastrophe! God bless you!

@Michael Eberl The inevitable destructive path of the protestant sin of "private judgement," which, sadly, prevails in the so-called "traditionalist movement."

There have been documented Eucharistic Miracles at the new Mass. Many Catholics do not have the availability to attend a Latin Mass. Are you suggesting they should then skip Adoration? Not a very prudent suggestion.

No, please read the article rather than just commenting on the picture. I specifically addressed this.

I read the article. I attend the Diocesan Latin Mass. On occasion I also attend the New Mass at a faithful parish. Since we can all hear what the priest says during the Consecration, we know exactly if there could be any error on the priest. I am no fan of Vatican II, but this article is ridiculous. Obviously, it is our responsibility to vet the priest and attend a proper Mass. Anyone reading articles on this website clearly are aware of this importance.

There are other avenues for invalidity than the priest using the correct words. Sacraments need valid form matter and intention.
See the example I cited above about invalid wine being used for years in a Kansas City diocese. Resulting in years of no masses.
Read Michael Davies “The American Scandal” found in appendix VI of “Pope Paul’s New Mass” for another example where widespread use of adulterated bread took place for 9 months even after Church authorities were alerted to the invalidating practice.
The point of the article is that there is so much corruption in the Novus Ordo that there is reason to have apprehension about invalidity.

Personally, if a parish has frequent Adoration, devotions and the Rosary, I feel there is no concern over the Sacraments. It is common sense. I have seen some parishes that were questionable and obviously would not attend those Churches in the future. The faithful Catholic reading these articles know the OBVIOUS difference.
