It was just love. If this darling couple had received a blessing, everything would have been fine.

@P. O'B And I'm certain that Jimbo, SJ would've loved the opportunity to have pronounced the "blessing" for his brother-priest. Or, the couple could have gone to a Wednesday General Audience of the Pope in the Paul VI Hall, and I'm sure the Holy Father would have obliged; right after the dancing...uh, "acrobats," of course.

The Priesthood is a pigsty. May it please the Lord to raise up a Holy Roman Pontiff to the Throne of Saint Peter, who will come in the power and anointing of Christ, with great boldness, invincible tenacity, relentless determination, implacable courage, and blazing, fiery zeal, to purge and cleanse it for the glory of God the Father and of Our Lord Jesus Christ, world without end.
