Francis Plays Again

After the September 1 General Audience, Francis played mini golf in the Paul VI hall.

This reminded the Vaticanist Rocco Palmo (Twitter.com, September 9) of a famous wisecrack by Chicago Cardinal Francis George (+2015), “We have just witnessed the death of clerical culture.”

Two weeks before, on August 18, Francis played table football. For the rest of the day, he played pope.
