Murdered Provincial’s Funeral: “Joyful,” “Love and Charity”

The funeral for Father Olivier Maire, the Provincial of the Montfort Fathers in France, will take place at 2.30pm on August 13 in the Basilica of Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort in Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre.

Saint Louis-Marie de Montfort is buried in this basilica. Maire was murdered by Emmanuel Abayisenga, a criminal and arsonist, whom the oligarchs’ media present as “refugy” or “migrant.”

All parishes in the Vendée will ring the bells at midday on Friday 13 August.

The Montfortian Fathers wish a "simple and joyful" ceremony with texts centered on “love and charity,” LeFigaro.fr (August 11) writes.

On August 8, Father Maire, an accomplished organist, gave a recital in the Basilica of Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort. During the following night he died after six violent blows to his head.

The autopsy could not determine the nature of the murder weapon which caused significant brain injuries leading to internal and external haemorrhaging. Death occurred rapidly after the blows were delivered.
