This is how it works...
The 'little guys' are forced to succumb to assertions of the bullies.

As the bullying effects, the news shows it in place and calls it 'good'. Then, the next victim country sees that they have fewer allies and considers their chances of retaining truth, human freedoms, and consideration rather than be the next weakling country that is reported to have given into the bullying.

If there were such as thing as 2nd amendment and the population did not self-disarm, they could have a lawful resolution.
