Coronavirus: Infected Parson Shook Hands with More Than 500 Worshippers

Timothy Cole, a Georgetown Episcopal parson, was hospitalised on Monday after he was infected with the coronavirus.

Now, all worshippers, several hundred, were ordered into self-quarantine for two weeks from the last time they visited the church.

Christ Church cancelled all activities, including church services, until further notice, marking the first time the church has been closed since a fire in the 1800s.

The World Health Organization has confirmed the virus in more than 100 countries.
