Chapel in Former German Seminary to Become Bar

The former St Ludgerus Seminary in Bochum is set to become a student residence.

It was the seminary of the Diocese of Essen from 1969 to 2012. After that, it briefly served as accommodation for refugees.

On 24 July, Waz.de reported that a Krefeld-based real estate company will convert the building into a student residence called “Q'Burg”, which is set to become “Germany's coolest student residence”. The project is expected to cost 20 million euros. However, the city of Bochum has not yet granted the building permit.

Communal areas will include a swimming pool and a basement lounge.

The former chapel is set to be transformed into a bar.

If this were a mosque, it would never have been allowed.

At least it’s one of the hideous modernist chapels.

The destructive dioceses of Bergoglio and Prevost are wiping out the Houses of God from the face of the Earth. Now they're keeping the money from the sale of the land and churches that faithful believers built with blood, sweat, and tears. A grave sin.

More selling off of Church assets in the so-called "Golden Age of seminaries" and the "springtime/new Pentecost of Vatican II" 🥴 😱 🥺
