‘No evidence of Russian interference in Romania elections,’ says Liberal candidate – Allah's Willing Executioners

There is “absolutely no evidence” of Russian interference in Romania’s annulled 2024 elections.
That is according to MP Elena Lasconi, the Liberal candidate who trailed frontrunner Călin Georgescu in the highly controversial ballot.
Her comments came in an interview marking the one-year anniversary of the controversial annulment in December 6, 2024, cast fresh doubt on the intelligence assessments that prompted the Romanian Constitutional Court’s unprecedented decision to scrap the entire electoral process.
Conducted by French-Romanian journalist Stéphane Luçon and published on December 2 on his Substack platform Francezul, the discussion titled A Year Since They Suspended Democracy delved into what Lasconi described as a manufactured crisis that eroded public trust in Romania’s institutions.
