About communism, Pope Francis said:
Her materialism had no hold over me. But learning about it through a courageous and honest person was helpful. I realized a few things, an aspect of the social, which I then found in the social doctrine of the Church
On atheists and believers trying to convert one another:
Proselytism is solemn nonsense, it makes no sense. We need to get to know each other, listen to each other and improve our knowledge of the world around us.
Q. Your Holiness, is there is a single vision of the Good? And who decides what it is?
A. Each of us has a vision of good and of evil. We have to encourage people to move towards what they think is Good.
Q. Your Holiness, you wrote that in your letter to me. The conscience is autonomous, you said, and everyone must obey his conscience. A. And I repeat it here. Everyone has his own idea of good and evil and must choose to follow the good and fight evil as he conceives them. That would be …More

Here in Germany the birthrate is 1.3 children per woman. 2.1 is required for the reproduction of the species. It is more or less the same throughout Europe and the USA has fallen to 1.9 children. According to Der Spiegel, there were 15.2 million Germans 18 and younger in 2000. In 2011 there were 13 miilion Germans 18 and younger. If one accepts a continuation of the diminuition of the number of people in existence in Europa and North Amrica, there well be in less than 200 years no more Germans than there are Neanterthalers now, i.e., the extrapolation -->>> "0"!!! How did Pope Francis, the Social Welfarist, miss that problem. How can Christians serve their neighbors when there are no more neighbosr and, for that matter, no more Christian servers because the species has died out!!! Prof.lw
