Six Ways Democrat VP Candidate Kaine Resembles Pope Francis

“I’ve taken a position which is quite common among Catholics,” he said on Meet the Press recently. “I’ve got a personal feeling about abortion, but the right role for government is to let women make their own decisions.”

Dear Uncle Joe,
I thought you were concerned I'd lead the GTV sheep astray! 😀 I appreciate the quote from your #1 favorite little booklet...written by a saint who is a Redemptorist! (I may know the next Redemptorist saint, if anyone ever asks my opinion.)

And your comment about taking time out I had just been discussing with a friend before I read your note.

I'm a long, long way from being totally abandoned to God's will, but I have to say it has been like a speed course standing in front of late-term abortion 2x/week for 4 years. It has convinced me you are absolutely right, that God's ordaining and permissive will encompass everything and we must trust Him. I will also offer to you a book that drove this home to me quite effectively: He Leadeth Me about Fr. Walter Ciszek, 23 years as a prisoner.

And when all of the above is done to the best of our ability, never perfectly, and you add a daily examination of conscience and regular confession, Eucharistic adoration, etc., there is something more we can do to say, "Enough is enough!" with Catholic Church leaders who are leading...leading us off a cliff!

Dear Jungerheld,
My question here was rhetorical. The author of this article (apparently as queer as a 3 dollar bill) has a vested interest in Hillary being elected and therefore wrote the article. Dear Jungerheld,

My question here was rhetorical. The author of this article (apparently as queer as a 3 dollar bill) has a vested interest in Hillary being elected and therefore wrote the article. Look for similar articles from the democrat base which includes Black Lives Matter activists, trannies, open homos, Muzzies, illegal aliens and other assorted human debris to be published in left leaning publications and, of course, aired on TV by the usual suspects.

This is an extremely important question. I will attempt to answer it by quoting from my #1 favorite little booklet. But don't let the size deceive you. It is a powerful. ✍️

Cesarius offers this incident in the life of a certain monk: Externally his religious observance was the same as that of the other monks, but he had attained such sanctity that the mere touch of his garments healed the sick. Marveling at these deeds, since his life was no more exemplary than the lives of the other monks, the superior asked him one day what was the cause of these miracles.
.
"He replied that he too was mystified and was at a loss how to account for such happenings.
.
'What devotions do you practice?" asked the abbot. He answered that there was little or nothing special that he did beyond making a great deal of willing only what God willed, and that God had given him the grace of abandoning his will totally to the will of God.
.
'Prosperity does not lift me up, nor adversity cast me down," added the monk. "I direct all my prayers to the end that God's will may be done fully in me and by me." "That raid that our enemies made against the monastery the other day, in which our stores were plundered, our granaries put to the torch and our cattle driven off -- did not this misfortune cause you any resentment?" queried the abbot. . "No, Father," came the reply. "On the contrary, I returned thanks to God -- as is my custom in such circumstances -- fully persuaded that God does all things, or permits all that happens, for his glory and for our greater good; thus I am always at peace, no matter what happens." Seeing such uniformity with the will of God, the abbot no longer wondered why the monk worked so many miracles.

Uniformity with God's Will

There is one more thing. A noted commentator once said that it is refreshing simply to take a time out. Discontinue reading, listening and watching the daily news for a limited period. At the end of that time, resume. If you find that your have been renewed and that you didn't and don't really need all the negatively in the daily news, congratulations. Even here at little Gloria we have a small group of obsessive compulsive, weak intellects, tortilla flipping, half-wits who spread their poison daily, not only on their own language side of Gloria, but their mental disease is so overwhelming that they have felt the need to spread their bile on the English board as well (see my profile pic). These miserable intellectual midgets actually are their own worst punishment. Not realizing that their behavior is infantile, repetitive, and obsessive, they are destined to continue, affirming their lunacy to all who stumble across their garbage. 😎

@Uncle Joe I posted it for the accuracy in the comparisons, not to celebrate them. The Catholic Church, which Jesus promised the gates of Hell would not prevail against, is more and more every day seeming to step on to Satan's side of the battle. So what are we to do about it?
